Join French Darkwave icon Carpenter Brut as he tours the UK later this month with a headline show at The Forum, London on Oct 22nd. The incredible shows pull together Dirty Synthesizers, stomping Rave Beats and Big Rock Riffs. Amazing 80s style horror movie footage, completely original to Carpenter Brut , backs it all too – which makes for a proper spectacle.
You can get a flavour of what to expect with the videos for ‘Monday Hunt’, which follows the rampage of the deranged slasher killer, and future rock star, Bret Halford at Midwich High School, and ‘Beware The Beast’ detailing the unstoppable monstrous rise of the fictional band Leather Patrol.
Both songs are taken from his recently released and critically acclaimed new album Leather Teeth, out now through Caroline International.
Leather Teeth is the soundtrack of a Dark 'Coming-of-Age' film. The album follows the story of Bret Halford, an introverted science student. He likes a girl who doesn’t like him and much prefers the team’s star quarterback. Bret gets mad. He tries to create a concoction that will allow him to control them all, but ends up disfigured and decides instead to become a rock star. This is how he will seduce the girl, and all other girls: by becoming Leather Teeth, singer of Leather Patrol.
He returns to the UK following his last headline tour back in March, which culminated with a sold out show at KOKO. He also played major festivals this summer including Coachella, Primavera and more. You can find his current international tour dates here.
